Johnny Depp to play the Mad Hatter in Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland! Which is your favorite Johnny character?

We’re first to admit the Tim Burton/Johnny Depp combo is getting a bit predictable, but that didn’t stop us from squealing at the news that Johnny is set to play the Mad Hatter in Burton’s adaptation of one of our favorite stories of all time, Alice in Wonderland. What a perfect match! Thankfully to our delight, the oddly creepy Dakota Fanning will not play Alice—the title role is going to unknown Aussie actress Mia Wasikowska. Another plus? It’s being shot in 3-D!
